Operating from Town Hall, the position is 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 9:
00 am to 5:
00 pm.
The starting hourly rate is $18.
00 per hour plus limited part time benefits.
The successful applicant will have experience in all aspects of issuing building permits and inspections and have a working knowledge of the Florida Building Code.
Working in a busy office environment the applicant will deal directly with the town's residents, and liaise with the town's building inspectors, developers, and the Lake County Property Appraiser both in person, by telephone and email.
In addition to the building service role, there will be some general office duties, and the employee will be trained to handle specific responsibilities.
A good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential with the ability to learn new software programs.
